Saturday I saw Rio 3D and decided to post here a review about this movie, once it is talking about my hometown.
To make a starting point, I would like to thank you and congratulate the director: Carlos Saldanha. Thanks for allowing us the pleasure to see a movie pretended for kids, but that is really catchy for adults as well. I think everything is good about this film: the visual images are perfect, it reproduces in detail Rio's landscape. The characters are perfectly detailed, since their movement to their face, making us believe that they are human beings, not dolls. The soundtrack is amazing, specially the track take you to Rio, and the samba atmosphere is also incredible with the reproduction of the parade and everything. The fact that I saw it in 3D is very special, because you get to see everything alive in front of you, like you are in Rio, which made me miss home. Finally I would like to congratulate everybody involved in this film production, not only the brazilians, but everyone who put their good effort to make this amazing film, very well done! I am really looking forward to see it again.
